If you are informed by a girl under 18 that an act of FGM has been carried out on her; or observe physical signs which appear to show that an act of FGM has been carried out on a girl under 18. Regulated professionals in England & Wales must report it to the Police under the Mandatory Duty using the 101 non-emergency number.

The Bristol Community Rose Clinic provides care and support for women who are experiencing problems as a result of female genital mutilation (FGM). This specialist de-infibulation clinic is staffed by an all-female team, who understand the sensitivity and complexity of issues relating to FGM. They offer this support to women from Bristol, North Somerset, south Gloucestershire and Bath areas.
